In November 2014, Childreach India attempted to reach out to children from different districts, largely from Delhi and Haryana, to understand their insights on the issue of irregular attendance and high 'drop-out rate' in elementary education. The deliberations concluded through the format of Children's Parliament, under Childreach India's flagship programme 'My School My Voice' (MSMV).
Post parliament, MSMV - that aims to address the issue of learning, attendance and retention in elementary education redefined its approach and strategies in accordance with the outcome of the children's parliament.
MSMV team worked through process-oriented participatory learning methodologies with 5100 children representing schools and organisations, thereby creating platforms for children to participate in their education.
